Seilebost beach

Harris is generally acknowledged to be one of the loveliest islands in the Outer Hebrides, with its breathtaking scenery and lovely sandy beaches.

The terrain on the east side is rocky and rugged whereas the flat machair land on the west side is more fertile. The island has a wide variety of wild life and there are excellent opportunities for many interesting and exciting holiday activities, including walking, cycling, climbing and fishing.

There is also a fine little nine-hole golf course at Scarista in South Harris.
